During registration, the site processes an image of your student ID so it can verify that you are a current Lawrence University student.

If you participate in the game, we may collect profile photos, clip verification photos, gameplay activity such as eliminations and timestamps, and leaderboard information.

If you contact us through the site, we collect the contact details and message content you submit.

We use this information to run Lawrence Clipped, verify eligibility, manage accounts, review clips and disputes, communicate about the game, and operate gameplay features such as targets, eliminations, and leaderboards.

We also use limited technical information for security, rate limiting, fraud prevention, and core site operations.

The site uses cookies and similar local storage mechanisms to remember preferences such as theme selection, introductory experience state, and acknowledgement of the cookie notice.

We may also process technical data such as IP address or request metadata to protect the site from abuse and to keep core features working properly.

We use service providers to help run the site. These currently include Supabase for authentication and data storage, Azure Computer Vision for student ID OCR during registration, and Vercel services for hosting, analytics, and security features.

These providers may process information on our behalf only as needed to provide their services to the site.

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with the game's organizers and administrators as needed to operate the game, review disputes, manage safety issues, and communicate results.

If you participate in the game, some information may be visible to other participants or the public, including leaderboard information, game updates, and photos used to announce eliminations.

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the game, maintain records, resolve disputes, and satisfy operational or legal needs.
